Ranketta Review 2026: What It Tracks, What It Skips, and Who Should Look Elsewhere

Ranketta tracks AI product recommendations at the SKU level and rewrites the catalog data behind them. Here is what it covers, what it leaves out, how pricing works, and which stores are better served by another tool.

Key takeaways

  • Ranketta is built for stores and D2C brands with their own catalog. It tracks which individual SKUs AI recommends, not just whether your brand name appears.
  • It goes past monitoring: an enrichment agent rewrites titles, descriptions, GTINs and attributes, then ships them to feeds (Google Merchant Center, Amazon, Heureka, Zboží.cz) and to Shopify and Shoptet.
  • Pricing starts at 29 EUR a month, but merchandising, the catalog-fixing part, begins at Starter (79 EUR). Prompt caps are per model, so adding models eats your budget quickly.
  • Gaps: no order or revenue data, a thin public review base (about 20 G2 reviews), and nothing for third-party listicles and reviews that drive a big share of AI citations.
  • Skip it if you are a SaaS or services company with no product catalog, or if your main need is crawler observability and broad GEO content work.

What Ranketta is

Ranketta describes itself as an AI visibility platform built for agentic commerce. The pitch: most GEO tools count brand mentions, but shoppers asking ChatGPT for the best standing desk under $500 get a shortlist of specific products. A brand can show up in 40% of answers while none of its SKUs make the list. Ranketta is designed to expose that gap and then close it.

The company claims 1,200+ e-commerce and D2C brands and lists customers such as GymBeam, BrainMarket, Vilgain and Daytrip, with larger names like O2 and Rossmann in its logo strip. Treat logo strips with the usual caution, since a logo can mean anything from a pilot to a multi-year contract. The public case studies are more useful: BrainMarket reports up to 44% AI visibility in key supplement categories and a move from average position 6 to 3, and Daytrip reports 50% higher AI visibility and doubled share of voice. Those are vendor-published numbers.

What Ranketta tracks

Product-level visibility

This is the core. For each tracked prompt, Ranketta reports which of your products get recommended, in what position, with what sentiment, and which competing products appear instead. There is also a Best Sellers view that ranks the products AI recommends most often by share of voice. The promise is a per-SKU answer to the question brand-level tools cannot answer.

The engines covered are ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot and Grok, including shopping modules. Amazon Alexa and Meta Muse also appear on the pricing page. On the cheaper plans you pick a subset: Alexa, Claude, Copilot, Grok and Meta Muse are labeled Premium models.

Real browser sessions, not APIs

Ranketta says it collects data from real browser sessions and repeats each prompt several times with cross-validation, so the output is a stable percentage rather than one noisy scrape. I think this is the right call for shopping. Product cards and recommendations often differ between the consumer interface and an API response, and some shopping surfaces have no public API at all. Ranketta openly admits the trade-off: browser sessions are heavier to run than API calls.

Competitor landscape and sentiment

You get the competing products and brands AI recommends for the same prompts, plus share of voice and sentiment. Reviewers on G2 also praise the prompt-level view and citation tracking, which shows which domains AI pulls from in your category.

What Ranketta fixes

Product data enrichment

This is what separates it from a plain tracker. An AI agent rewrites titles, descriptions, GTINs and attributes at catalog scale. Every proposed change carries a confidence score. You can approve fixes one at a time or set a confidence threshold and let the agent run across 10 SKUs or 10,000.

That design matters. Rewriting product data with a model is risky, and a score per fix lets a human decide how much to trust it. I would still start in manual approval mode for the first few hundred SKUs, particularly in regulated categories like supplements and cosmetics, where an enthusiastic rewrite can slip in claims you cannot make.

Content writer and publishing

A content writer drafts comparisons, listicles and guides from your tracked prompts. Fixed data goes out through feed exports to Amazon, Google Merchant Center, Heureka and Zboží.cz, with native Shopify and Shoptet integrations. The Heureka, Zboží.cz and Shoptet support tells you where Ranketta's roots are: Central and Eastern European e-commerce. If you sell mainly in the US on BigCommerce or Magento, check the integration list before you sign up.

AI traffic attribution

The homepage lists an attribution module showing which AI channels send shoppers. I could not verify how it works in detail, so ask for a demo of it. And keep expectations realistic: no tool can tie a specific order to a specific AI answer, because AI platforms do not pass a referrer identifying the answer. Ranketta's own FAQ says no tool can guarantee a specific AI response, which is a refreshingly honest line.

Ranketta pricing in 2026

Published prices below are for the Online Stores tab on ranketta.com/pricing, in euros. There are separate tabs for Brands and Agencies that I did not review, so confirm everything on the pricing page. A 7-day free trial is offered, and annual billing gives two months free.

PlanPriceModelsPrompts per modelMerchandisingScope

Scale449 EUR/mo5300Yes, 45k credits5 sites, 10 countries
EnterpriseCustom10+1,000+Custom feed flowMulti-site, dedicated AEO specialist

Three things the table hides:

  • Prompt caps are per model. Tracker gives 30 prompts on each of 2 models, which is 60 prompt-model pairs. Add models and your coverage of any single prompt does not grow, you just spread the same budget.
  • Merchandising, the catalog-fixing feature, is not in the 29 EUR tier. If fixing data is why you are interested, your real entry price is 79 EUR.
  • Credits are a separate meter, and the pricing page does not say what consumes them. Ask before you commit to a large catalog.

The pricing page also marks several plans as Most Popular, so ignore that label.

What the reviews say

G2 shows 4.9 out of 5 from roughly 20 reviews, all five stars, mostly from small-business marketers, with the newest dated August 2026. Reviewers praise prompt-level insight, citation tracking and the fact that the output is a to-do list rather than a score. Complaints are mild: a few metrics need explanation, and one reviewer wants simpler executive-level visuals. Onboarding calls from the team seem to smooth that over.

Honest read: it is a positive signal, but 20 uniformly perfect reviews is a thin sample. Several come from the same company. Run the trial against your own catalog before trusting the rating.

What Ranketta skips

Third-party sources

Promptwatch Data looked at what ChatGPT cites between Sep 28 and Oct 4, 2026. In the content-type breakdown, product pages were the most cited type at 22.4% of classified citations, and landing pages followed at 16.8%. Together that is about 39% of citations going to pages describing what a company sells, which backs up Ranketta's SKU-level thesis. For commercial prompts, product pages hit 26.0%.

But editorial formats combined made up 43%, with listicles at 13.6%, comparisons at 5.9% and reviews at 1.7%. A feed and catalog tool does not directly touch those. If AI recommends competitors because a review site or roundup ranks them, fixing your own titles will not change that. Ranketta's content writer and citation tracking help here, but outreach to those third-party sources is on you.

Shopping surfaces are small

Promptwatch's ChatGPT shopping usage data shows product cards appearing on only a low single-digit percentage of web-search responses, concentrated in commercial prompts, and the rate moves in steps as OpenAI tunes it. That data is dated November 2025, so check current numbers. The point stands: feed-driven surfaces are one part of AI discovery, not all of it.

Revenue reporting

A competing review from AmICited says neither Ranketta nor Promptwatch connects to order data or reports revenue, contribution margin or profit. Note that AmICited sells a rival product, so weigh its ranking accordingly. On this narrow point it matches what I found: Ranketta's attribution is channel-level, not an order book.

Crawler observability

I found nothing in Ranketta's materials about IP-verified AI crawler logs. If your problem is that bots cannot read your site, a tracker with product data will not diagnose it.

Who should use Ranketta

  • Online stores with their own GTINs, a Merchant Center feed, and categories where shoppers ask AI for recommendations: supplements, cosmetics, electronics, sport.
  • D2C brands where the brand and the product are the same thing.
  • Agencies running multiple e-commerce clients that want share of voice reporting and Looker Studio output. Check the Agencies pricing tab first.
  • Teams with someone who will actually review enrichment proposals.

Who should look elsewhere

  • B2B and SaaS companies. Ranketta says it supports them with competitor and next-content views, but the product is designed around catalogs. Brand-level and content-focused tools fit better.
  • Marketplace-only sellers who do not control product data.
  • Teams that need crawler logs, Reddit and YouTube citation tracking, or a full content pipeline.
  • Anyone who needs revenue attribution beyond aggregate channel reporting.
  • Very small stores. A 29 EUR tracker with no merchandising may not justify itself over a free report.

Alternatives worth comparing

Promptwatch is the most natural comparison if your problem is wider than product data. It tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and others through their real interfaces, and adds IP-verified AI crawler logs, citation tracking across Reddit, YouTube and LinkedIn, and a Content Agent that writes and publishes to WordPress, Webflow or Framer. ChatGPT Shopping insights and Ads Radar come with the Business plan at $579 a month. It does not rewrite your product feed, so for pure catalog work Ranketta is the more specialized pick. To browse more options, the GEO software directory at bestgeosoftware.com and the rank tracker list at ai-rank-tools.com are good starting points.

How to run a fair trial

  1. Pick 30 to 50 prompts that real buyers use, mixing category queries and competitor comparisons.
  2. Record your current positions manually in ChatGPT and AI Mode so you have a sanity check on Ranketta's numbers.
  3. Run enrichment on 20 SKUs in manual approval mode and read every change.
  4. Ship the changes, then wait a few weeks. Feeds and AI answers do not update overnight.
  5. Compare position and share of voice for those SKUs against a control set you did not touch.
  6. Ask what consumes credits, and how the prompt-demand data is sourced. Neither is clear from public pages.

Verdict

Ranketta does one thing most GEO tools do not: it works at the SKU level and touches the product data. For a store with a real catalog, that is a sensible focus, and the browser-session approach is credible. The weak spots are a small review base, vendor-reported case studies, unclear credit mechanics and no revenue or crawler layer. If your catalog is your business, trial it. If your problem is broader AI visibility, pair it with or swap it for a platform that covers crawlers, citations and content.
